Quality Inspectors are responsible to the Director of Quality for the performance of all required inspections in accordance with the Quality Control Manual, OEM’s manuals, and the applicable FAA regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assure that prior to performing their duties they have adequate facilities, applicable technical data, applicable tools, materials and adequate training on the product they will inspect. Maintain knowledge of the latest techniques and publications necessary to properly carry out inspections. Be thoroughly familiar with all inspection methods, techniques and equipment used in their area of responsibility. Ensure that all inspections are properly performed in accordance with the appropriate technical data, the Repair Station and Quality Control Manual. Assist QMD in performing internal audits in different areas of the Repair Station. Conduct incoming/receiving, preliminary, hidden damage, in progress, final inspection and release to service of all components undergoing maintenance at the Repair Station. Review technical data, Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins. Ensure that all proper procedures are followed for Inspection, Repair, and Overhaul of components. Release for return to service aircraft articles for which they are trained, qualified and authorized. Complete the Work Order closing. Maintain tally sheets for discrepancies issued against the Non-Routine Work Item. Verifies that inspection records, reports and forms used by the repair station are executed prior to final releasing into service. Issue Work Order Package and applicable references, tag and identify parts. Verification that the latest technical data is used on articles being Overhauled, Repaired and or inspected. Ensure currency of technical data is always maintained. Ensure that identifications tags are on articles. Ensure that rejected parts or unserviceable parts are tagged and discarded as per RSM and QCM to prevent their use on serviceable parts.

Requirements: 4-6 years years of Inspection experience on commercial aircraft irframe License Preferred Powerplant License Preferred High School Diploma/GED. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be able to lift fifty (50) lbs. Subject to continual loud noises. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for prolonged periods of time, climb steps, ladders and/or service stands. • Check and determine the need and extent of repair and maintenance to be made to District aircraft so that aircraft stays in proper working order. • Perform pre and post flight inspections and maintain District owned aircraft under the periodic inspection program specified by the FAA for charter aircraft in order to provide a reasonable assurance that aircraft are functioning properly. • Fuel aircraft and load with chemicals as required so that aircraft have enough fuel and chemicals for each mission. • Perform equipment calibration prior to missions to ensure proper amounts of chemicals are released from aircraft. • Perform inspections and repairs in order to submit any FAA required documents to the Director of Aircraft Maintenance. • Maintain and rebuild aircraft engines and airframe as needed with an objective of all aircraft being mission ready. • Assist in the design and fabrication or modification of special equipment such as liquid and dry application equipment resulting in fully functioning equipment to assist in the abatement of mosquito populations. • Prepare requisitions and work orders under the direction of the Director of Aircraft Maintenance for parts and materials needed to maintain District aircraft in a state of readiness. • Perform routine maintenance and repair to facilities in order to keep the building in good working order. • Operate forklifts and other ground support equipment as needed to help complete tasks. • Assist ground operations when needed with maintenance, repair, and operation of vehicles and spray equipment as necessary in order to have functioning ground equipment. • Reinforce aircraft operation sites when aircraft operations exceed the capacity of the Aircraft Support Technicians in the field. • Follow Federal and State laws and District policies regarding health and safety to ensure compliance.

Plans and accomplishes a complete range of assignments and tasks that are varied and moderately complex, pertaining to expediting of parts, status and control of inventory, equipment, material, tools and services. Attend production / Scheduling meetings to discuss workload, highlight material issues, coordinate and prioritize respective workloads to ensure customer delivery dates and business targets are met. Perform data maintenance and maintain notes/dates in the system regarding status and issues associated with the repair of units. Perform PC Open, PC Close transactions and ensure all materials have been issued to the orders and all operations have been confirmed prior to Technically Completing Service Order. Coordinate with production supervision to release planning, labor and materials into work through job order stock control and order release management, the printing and release of order paperwork as per the schedule. Liaise with scheduling to notify when schedule adjustments are required based on manufacturing/repair inputs. On manufacturing orders, ensure that all part tags are completed accurately and shelf life information is captured as required, and Goods Receipt the Production Orders to stock in accordance with production schedules and commitments. Produce shortage reports and review with leads and product managers to determine the effect of material shortages on the production schedule. Communicate Outside Process (OSP) shortages and critical material requirements with MRP Controller, Scheduling, Purchasing, Section Leads, and Product Managers. Track critical shortages and update / communicate critical shortage reports to provide priority to receiving and warehouse. Identify, communicate Quality Notification delays. Modify demand allocations for specific jobs as required. Work with Engineering as needs arise to identify the need to modify the standard bills of materials. Amend usage decisions/ errors in inspection lots and warehouse returns. Initiate new part set ups, as required, for items not previously procured. Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory in warehouse or non-warehouse managed locations and cycle count activity. Assist operations in problem solving issues as they pertain to labor and materials: -Review pick list, TR dates and stock requirements/allocations to ensure material issues from stores are completed in a timely manner according to job priorities and material availability, liaising with the warehouse staff and manager. - Control and processing of structural component swaps/RERE process and ensuring system transaction and documentation traceability.

Seeking experienced A&P Mechanics to perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications in a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) environment. This position supports a variety of aircraft platforms and offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled maintenance team while ensuring all work is completed in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft and aircraft systems. Troubleshoot and repair airframe, engine, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Conduct inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures. Read and interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical data. Complete accurate maintenance records and required documentation. Remove, install, test, and adjust aircraft components and systems. Perform operational and functional checks following maintenance activities. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Follow all company safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Assist with aircraft modifications, repairs, and return-to-service activities as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required. Minimum 3 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience OR 2 years of corporate/business aviation maintenance experience. Experience performing inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on aircraft systems. Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical data. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Must have own tools required to perform assigned duties. Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules as needed. Preferred Qualifications Previous MRO, service center, corporate aviation, military, or commercial aircraft maintenance experience. Experience with major inspections, modifications, and return-to-service activities. Familiarity with FAA regulations, maintenance record keeping, and quality standards. Experience working independently with minimal supervision.
