Assist in the design and fabrication or modification of special equipment such as liquid and dry application equipment resulting in fully functioning equipment to assist in the abatement of mosquito populations. Prepare requisitions and work orders under the direction of the Director of Aircraft Maintenance for parts and materials needed to maintain District aircraft in a state of readiness. Perform routine maintenance and repair to facilities in order to keep the building in good working order. Operate forklifts and other ground support equipment as needed to help complete tasks. Assist ground operations when needed with maintenance, repair, and operation of vehicles and spray equipment as necessary in order to have functioning ground equipment. Reinforce aircraft operation sites when aircraft operations exceed the capacity of the Aircraft Support Technicians in the field. Follow Federal and State laws and District policies regarding health and safety to ensure compliance. Quality Inspector (unlicensed)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Unlicensed Inspector to support quality and compliance activities within a fast-paced aerospace maintenance and modification environment. This role is responsible for performing visual and dimensional inspections on aircraft components, materials, and maintenance work to ensure adherence to company standards, customer requirements, and applicable aviation regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong aviation maintenance knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with technicians, quality personnel, and production teams to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform inspections on incoming aircraft parts, materials, and components Inspect maintenance, modification, and repair work for compliance with company and customer standards Document discrepancies, non-conformances, and inspection findings accurately Review work orders, maintenance records, and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications Assist with monitoring processes and procedures to ensure quality standards are met throughout production Support shelf-life and material inspections as required Communicate inspection findings with mechanics, leads, and management teams Maintain organized and accurate inspection and compliance records Assist with audits, investigations, and corrective action processes when needed Follow all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean work environment Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

Requirements

Minimum 1+ years of aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, or quality inspection experience preferred Previous experience in an aircraft maintenance, MRO, or aerospace production environment preferred Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance practices and quality procedures Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical manuals Familiarity with FAA regulations and aviation documentation processes preferred Experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment Basic computer skills required Must be able to pass applicable background checks and drug screening Flexible to work overtime, weekends, or shifts as required by workload

Miscellaneous

The Inspector may delegate all duties to any qualified assistant as necessary. However, such delegation does not relieve him/her of the overall responsibility. The Inspector shall be properly certificated in accordance with 14 CFR Part 65, Subpart D or E, or will be supervised by someone properly certificated in accordance with 14 CFR Part 65, Subpart D or E
