NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): (Identify functions affecting the airworthiness of the aircraft by using the prefix “CRITICAL”) Is aware proper aircraft maintenance practices. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Preform duties assigned while maintaining quality standards within assigned time limits. Works in a safe manner in accordance with company and OSHA safety procedures.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED. Basic computer skills. Airframe & Powerplant (A & P) certificate, or equivalent experience. (equivalency =minimum of 2 years experience as an aircraft mechanic) Minimum of 2 years of experience as an aircraft mechanic. (experience is not cumulative) Proficient with using hand tools and precision equipment. Capable of reading and interpreting approved aircraft diagrams, charts, schematics and maintenance procedures. Able to work on maintenance stands, lifts and ladders, work in confined spaces in unusual positions Able to lift minimum 50lbs and able to enter and exit the aircraft using steps and/or stairs. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required. Four (4) years experience in an avionics/electrical career field. or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two (2) years related experience. A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred. Other FCC preferred. Other NCATT preferred. Other Requirements: Preferred proficiency in the operation and troubleshooting of other aircraft systems or disciplines other than avionics, such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental controls or structural installations and repairs. Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams. Demonstrates excellent communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
