Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Safely perform removal, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interiors (which may include seats, carpets, galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors and panels) Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, internal and FAA paperwork, sign-offs and quality specifications Install cabin and cockpit seats and furniture Fabricate and pre- fit interior components associated with the modification specs and does simple layout on such items as O2 boxes, brackets, clips, lights and gaspers etc. Seek methods to cross train to develop technical skills and business knowledge. Remove and install all interior components and soundproofing materials to meet company quality standards Read and interprets blueprints, drawings, and production procedures to determine measurements and installation procedures Measure and mark installation areas in aircraft interior, using measuring and marking instruments and templates Fit and install items in aircraft, using hand tools, power tools, and fasteners, such as screws, rivets, bolts, and speed nuts Fabricate and install supporting structural devices, such as clips, brackets, angles, gussets, and doublers, using shop equipment Test functional performance of installed items

The Avionics Technician must perform a variety of installation and maintenance tasks on avionics hardware and wiring assemblies. The Avionics Technician must work within estimated time and in accordance with applicable client, FAA, and customer standards of quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform such typical maintenance functions as cabling, component removal/installation, wire harness removal/installation, fabrication/repair of wire harness assemblies, and continuity checks. Determine if work can safely be accomplished if aircraft is in a power-on mode and be able to conduct necessary testing if in a power-on mode. Fabricate and install all wiring assemblies and associated mechanical equipment. Remove and install avionics systems. Follow all applicable specifications to accomplish a specific task. Follow Customer aircraft maintenance documentation programs. Follow wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, Illustrated Parts Catalog, ATA Codes, Service Bulletins and Maintenance Manuals. Read electrical schematics and use them to troubleshoot and repair aircraft avionics systems. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Be familiar with ESD processes and requirements Be aware of EWIS requirements Must efficiently perform tasks. Follow all safety procedures and specifications with appropriate PPE. Execute all required paperwork as work is being completed in connection with assigned normal duties. Use and operate ground support equipment, as applicable and if qualified, in a safe manner. Complete assignments with little or no rework. Act as a mentor and help train less experienced avionics technicians. Interface effectively with members of management, other departments, and co-workers. Perform other work as instructed by the Avionics Lead or Maintenance Supervisor, if qualified.

Language (read, write, speak, and understand English). 18+ months of experience troubleshooting and effecting Avionics repairs on Military, Commercial transport aircraft Subject to noise more than 85 dbs. Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and/or stand for prolonged periods of time and climb ladders and/or service stands. May be exposed to hazardous chemicals and requires the use of all safety equipment. Must be able to breathe through a full-face respirator. Employees with facial hair will be required to purchase a hood to meet respirator requirements. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required. Four (4) years experience in an avionics/electrical career field. or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two (2) years related experience. A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred. Other FCC preferred. Other NCATT preferred. Other Requirements: Preferred proficiency in the operation and troubleshooting of other aircraft systems or disciplines other than avionics, such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental controls or structural installations and repairs. Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams. Demonstrates excellent communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Inspects completed assemblies for conformance to specifications. Completes and maintains necessary paperwork for documenting processes performed.
