Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs routine developmental learning assignments and applies standard solutions to work situations of a routine or repetitive nature. May perform a variety of routine duties related to the area to which assigned.Performs tasks and operate machines and equipment that are required to process acrylic material used to make transparencies into parts and assemblies such as wing tip lenses, flight deck, passenger cabin and helicopter windows used on operational aircraft.Reads blueprint, work instructions and planning documents to understand the specifications that are needed to produce quality material. Determine how such items as oven temperature, heating time, dimensions, tolerances, material cutting, polish machine speeds, holding fixtures, and other operations affect the outcome of the production process.Prepares acrylic billet material for the pre-stretch heating cycle. Places prepared billets into the oven using various types of material handling equipment and set the temperature controls. Lifts and positions heated material into the holding fixture, sets the machine controls and completes the stretching process.Operates band saw to cut material to size indicated on the planning documents. Places material to be cut onto the saw table surface using various types of material handling equipment. Starts machine and activate controls to complete the sawing process.Places stretched acrylic material on the grinding/polishing table using various types of material handling equipment. Activates vacuum hold down equipment and ensure material is held immovable to the grind/polish machine table. Adjust machine controls to bring polishing wheel into contact with the material. Turns valves to regulate flow of water into polishing head and starts machine.Examines finished material to determine conformance of finish and deformities specifications. Mark or otherwise indicate non-conforming areas of the finished acrylic sheet.Replaces worn grinding and surface conditioning discs and maintains machine in operating condition.Ancillary Job Functions and Responsibilities:Performs other duties as required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Within budgeted or estimated time, repair, modify, install, and perform routine maintenance of all Avionics systems with accuracy and with minimal assistance. Accurately interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, system schematics, drawings, engineering orders and other documents from both the customer and ATS. Apply deductive reasoning to troubleshoot and repair and/or check complex systems. Properly utilize avionics test equipment to perform systems test and keep abreast of new and advanced test equipment and the use of such equipment. Properly utilized and maintain Avionics hand tools to perform repairs and installations. Keep leadership and co-workers apprised of work progress and/or problems. Accurately document work performed as set forth by ATS and customer maintenance programs on a daily basis using the standard format. Prepare routine reports and correspondence. Fabricate per drawings and standard practices wire bundles and assemblies to include marking of wires, properly securing wires into bundles, and termination of wires into a variety of contacts and connectors. Take immediate corrective action regarding unsafe conditions. Regular and predictable attendance. Effective and appropriate conduct with co-workers. Operate ground support equipment e.g. power carts, Hi-Reach, etc. as required. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED AND one year as an ATS Avionics Apprentice Technician I; OR three years relevant related avionics experience on heavy commercial or regional aircraft; OR equivalent combination of education and experience/training. Airframe license is desired Ability to communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels regarding all job-related issues both verbally and in writing. Must have working knowledge of Avionics systems and their operation and the proven ability to troubleshoot basic problems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assign and schedule tasks to technicians based on skill set, as directed by the Project Manager and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Monitor workers allocated to his/her control and provide clear on the job instructions. Provide On-The-Job training, orientation and direction to apprentices and technicians. May delegate this function to qualified technicians. Execute the project plan for your area of expertise as provided by the Project Manager. Manage the work scope for your area of expertise within the project budget as set out by the Project Manager. Review work cards for your area of expertise and ensure that the Work Package reflects the actual status of the project. Carry out tasks on the aircraft when all other Lead Technician duties are accomplished. Provide technical assistance and guidance to the technicians on the crew. Ensure all partial work documentation is completed. The documentation should allow the status of a work card to “stand alone” without relying on other means (example; post-it notes, etc.). Partial work documentation includes continuation sheets, service bulletins used as continuation sheets, shift turnover reports, etc. Verify daily time cards. Responsible to ensure that crew members are billing their time to projects appropriately and that all time is accounted for. Responsible to ensure crew members are working productively throughout the duration of their shift. Responsible to ensure crew members follow company policies and procedures including evaluating the quality of work with his/her team. Make certain his/her team members comply with safety policies and procedures. Ensure equipment being used to perform required tasks is acceptable, serviceable and handled in a safety conscious manner. Responsible to ensure work environment is safe and clean, and maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

Requirements

Must have 10+ years hands on recent avionics experience with at least 2+ recent years in a leadership role. A&P License Must possess basic computer skills using the English language. Be thoroughly familiar with the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, specifications, tolerances, limits, inspection methods, techniques, and equipment used in their area of responsibility to determine the quality of the work performed and the airworthiness of the article. Maintain proficiency with various types of inspection aides used for the inspection of a particular item. Ensure current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limits, and procedures recommended by the manufacturer of the product undergoing inspection and other forms of applicable inspection information are available for reference. Other examples of inspection information would be FAA Airworthiness Directives, manufacturer’s bulletins, approved customer data, and Federal Aviation Regulations. Make final airworthiness determination prior to “Return of Service” on items they are authorized to inspect for any article maintained or altered by this repair station. Reject any work or parts that have not been properly maintained or altered in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturer’s approved data, customer approved data and the policies and procedures contained within this manual. Support the company Safety Program

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Inspector or Structural or Aircraft Technician, Heavy Commercial experience REQUIRED. Active A&P License required. Preferred 737, MD80 Experience. Must have own tools Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.

Report any tool issues to stores and ensure the correct tag is attached and properly completed. Take part in any required training including GMM and safety. Proven ability to work alone and in a team environment. Able to perform intermediate/heavy maintenance tasks with little supervision. Perform flight control and engine throttle rigging. Able to use FAA approved data (i.e. IPC, M/M, OHM, SRM) proficiently.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years aircraft technician experience. 737/ MD80 Experience Required. A320 experience, preferred. Active A&P License Must Have Own Tools Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
