10+ years of related experience Recent hands-on experience performing maintenance on commercial aircraft. Experience with engine removals/installations, heavy maintenance, line maintenance, return-to-service work, aircraft storage, or similar MRO environments preferred. A&P certification is not required, but is considered a plus. Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical instructions. Working knowledge of FAA maintenance practices and aircraft maintenance procedures. Must provide own basic hand tools. High School Diploma or GED required. Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Turns valves to regulate flow of water into polishing head and starts machine.Examines finished material to determine conformance of finish and deformities specifications. Mark or otherwise indicate non-conforming areas of the finished acrylic sheet.Replaces worn grinding and surface conditioning discs and maintains machine in operating condition.Ancillary Job Functions and Responsibilities:Performs other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classifications other than the primary assignment.

Requirements

Skills and Work Requirements : Any kind of mechanical inclination that allows them to read a tape measure and cut parts. Manufacturing and machine use would be helpful for stretch and polish. Able to cross train throughout the area.
