Capable of performing structural repairs on floor beams, fuselage skin repairs, to include stringers, doublers, and triplers. Capable of performing floor beam, and frame installations / repairs. Capable of performing basic repairs, blend outs, and reinforcing repairs. Corrosion removal, damage evaluation, and finish restoration. Ability to read and interpret SRM damage limits, and repairs. Working knowledge of IPCs. Ability to read, interpret, plan and work from complex SRM’s, Blueprints, Service Bulletins, ADs, EAs, and EO’s. Working knowledge of cold working, roto peening, and freeze plug installations a plus.

Communicate Outside Process (OSP) shortages and critical material requirements with MRP Controller, Scheduling, Purchasing, Section Leads, and Product Managers. Track critical shortages and update / communicate critical shortage reports to provide priority to receiving and warehouse. Identify, communicate Quality Notification delays. Modify demand allocations for specific jobs as required. Work with Engineering as needs arise to identify the need to modify the standard bills of materials. Amend usage decisions/ errors in inspection lots and warehouse returns. Initiate new part set ups, as required, for items not previously procured. Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory in warehouse or non-warehouse managed locations and cycle count activity. Assist operations in problem solving issues as they pertain to labor and materials: -Review pick list, TR dates and stock requirements/allocations to ensure material issues from stores are completed in a timely manner according to job priorities and material availability, liaising with the warehouse staff and manager. - Control and processing of structural component swaps/RERE process and ensuring system transaction and documentation traceability.

Perform structural repairs to airframes, including sheet metal work, riveting, patching and fiberglass/composite work Certify all work as required by FAA regulations, industry guidelines and company standards/procedures, including interfaces as necessary with various computer tracking systems and using appropriate company forms Make required entries for work orders, discrepancies, and corrective actions, and complete all associated computer/paperwork requirements, including turnover logs Assist and train other technicians when needed Participate in ongoing training opportunities, as appropriate for position Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

2-5 years of aircraft maintenance experience Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant license High School Diploma or General Education Degree required. Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Highly proficient with computer based technical data programs, and be competent in researching and use of appropriate technical manuals and industry reference materials Must be mechanically adept and demonstrate the skills and knowledge consistent with industry standards for this position, including an understanding of various airframe and power plant systems. Must be able to work inside and outside under varying work and climatic conditions, have the ability to lift up to 70 pounds and must be comfortable with heights. Must have own tools Experience desired on CRJ and ERJ aircraft, Sheet metal experience is a plus Must have strong drive for top notch customer service and safety, and be a team player with a “Can Do” attitude. This is a safety-sensitive position and falls under the provisions of the FAA's mandatory drug and alcohol testing requirements, including the release of prior drug and alcohol testing results from previous employers for the past two (2) years Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and full background investigation which may include education, criminal and work history verifications. If hired, will be subject to mandatory random drug testing.
