Prepares and maintains simple records such as work order documentation, turn over logs, and time and material records, as instructed. Reads task cards and follows them accurately to accomplish paint job ensuring FAA, emergency and other customer placards are correct. Follows safety procedures and wears/uses appropriate safety equipment for the work being performed. Complies with all safety procedures at all times, without exception. Records time worked as directed by supervisor. Performs work standards that meet and comply with all federal, customer and company policies and procedures which apply. Keeps informed of policies and procedures and asks supervisor for explanations if needed. Maintains work-related training and qualifications as required. Performs other duties as assigned.

Must have thorough working knowledge of all forms and documents required to support heavy maintenance service, including, but not limited to Company policy and procedure manuals, FAR’s, AD’s, Service Bulletins, and Maintenance Manuals. Able to read and interpret technical manuals, instructions, blueprints, and drawings. Efficient in the use and application of tools, gauges, instruments, etc. necessary for the accomplishment of duties assigned. Must have an understanding and working knowledge of hazardous material handling and disposal as related to the job assignment. Valid and current Airframe and Powerplant license is a plus. Must have minimum required tools. Meet the qualifications to obtain a SIDA badge. High School diploma or equivalent.
