Essential Duties and Responsibilities

CRJ airframe experience is a plus. MRO experience is a plus. Military aircraft maintenance (Depot/Isochronal/Phase Insp) is a plus. FAA A&P OR Airframe license is required. Must have own tools Ability to effectively communicate in English, aircraft maintenance actions, both verbally and in writing. Must be comfortable with 12 hr shift work, days, nights, or weekends.

Operate ground support equipment (GSE), such as power units, tugs, hydraulic mules, and oxygen servicing units. Work alongside Aviation Maintenance Technicians and Electronic/Avionics Technicians in troubleshooting and repairing aircraft systems. Perform basic sheet metal and electrical repairs when necessary. Access and reinstall aircraft components obstructing assigned maintenance tasks. May act as a Designated Inspector (DI) if qualified by Quality Assurance (QA). Provide support to team members across different maintenance areas.

Requirements

Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license is required. 6+ years of experience in aircraft turbine engine maintenance. Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and repair manuals accurately. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and in a team. Familiarity with aircraft maintenance procedures and safety protocols. Experience working with ground support equipment (GSE) is a plus. Willingness to travel for on-site and off-site maintenance assignments.

Complete tasks within allotted time frames and to FAA (or equivalent) and company standards Collaborate with other mechanics and engineers to perform repairs and ensure aircraft are operating smoothly.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years A&P experience working on helicopters with at least 2 years on any of the following designated helicopters, Airbus/Eurocopter AS350, EC130, EC135, EC145, Agusta 109, 119, 139, Bell 206, 407, 429, 412, 505, MD500, and/or Sikorsky S76. Maintain a neat and orderly work area, support the company FOD and 5S programs and comply with all safety regulations. Demonstrate Gulfstream Manufacturing competencies in the employee effectiveness review. Maintain and use all logs and records such as MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs, etc. Support continuous improvement processes as assigned. . Additional Functions: In support of aircraft certification and final phase testing, may include flight tests on aircraft as required.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required. 3 years aerospace/aviation experience or equivalent mechanical experience such as auto mechanics, heavy equipment, etc. A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred. Other Requirements: Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small-space restricted areas and lift up to 50 lbs. Solumina and Smarteam experience preferred. Requires ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams and use all tools required. to do the job. Must be skilled in close tolerance work and have knowledge of use of special tools and ability to perform close tolerance work such as drilling, reaming, ship fitting parts, etc. Ability to operate hydraulic mule pumps, fixtures, and jigs.
