Perform structural repairs, modifications, and sheet metal fabrication on commercial aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards Complete heavy maintenance tasks including skin repairs, panel replacements, structural modifications, corrosion removal, and component repairs Fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal parts including brackets, doublers, panels, and support structures Read and interpret blueprints, structural repair manuals (SRMs), engineering drawings, and technical data Use precision measuring tools and sheet metal equipment including drills, rivet guns, shears, brakes, and other hand tools Remove and install fasteners, rivets, and aircraft structural components as required Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and airworthiness requirements are met Properly document all work performed in compliance with FAA and customer requirements Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Collaborate with team members, leads, inspectors, and management to meet production schedules and aircraft delivery deadlines Follow all safety procedures and quality standards throughout the maintenance process

Requirements

Minimum 2+ years of commercial aircraft sheet metal experience required Strong recent experience in heavy commercial MRO environments required Experience specifically on Boeing 757, Boeing 737, and Airbus A319 / A320 / A321 strongly preferred Experience with heavy checks, structural repair work, and major modifications preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints, SRMs, and engineering documents Must have own basic tools required for the position Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible shifts as needed Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings and comply with airport/security requirements Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
