Selects tooling and materials compatible with the processing techniques identified in the work instructions. 2-4 years experience in Aircraft Repair Bonding Special Skills, Licenses or Job Requirements: Demonstrate competency in applying the following in performing normal job duties. • Reading and interpreting work instructions, properly documenting work performed on such documents as process planning, adhesive log sheets, Material Review Board documents, Engineering Work Orders, Change Notices, Engineering Process Specifications, technical manuals and like documentation. • Use close tolerance measuring tools i.e. scales, micrometers, calipers, depth gages and like tools. Cover all areas to be protected from paint or stripper with proper materials. Select and mix proper paint to the Manufacturer’s specifications. May be required to experiment with special paints and related products. Set up and use spray gun for proper application of urethane, lacquer, enamel, water base and epoxy paints. Touch up woodwork with brush, airbrush, and/or spray gun, blend-in techniques. Complete tasks within assigned time limits. Accurately log computerized labor data collection system for work orders, time and attendance tracking. May lead or train other personnel on specific job assignments as directed by supervision. Work in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and company safety procedures. Set up and operate standard shop equipment.

Properly documents findings and actions taken. Interpret and verify per complex data, engineering change orders and governmental regulatory procedures and specifications and properly document results. Must possess well-developed critical thinking, logic and analytical skills. Able to work from heights or small-enclosed areas for short periods with or without reasonable accommodation. Able to climb, stoop, bend, kneel, and/or work from unleveled surfaces with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, 3D models and specifications.
