Applies advanced technical skills and knowledge related to in original equipment manufacturing of final paint application on original equipment manufactured parts, components and complete subsystems for operational aircraft applications. Performs any of the detailed work operations required to be completed in this area of specialization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs paint application to original equipment manufactured (OEM) structural parts, components and subsystems for aircraft applications using products and processes that are varied and moderately complex to complex in scope to apply primer, topcoat paint, and any spray-applied coatings to aircraft parts consistent with government, customer and company standards. The level of work requires experience and sound judgment.
Reads and interprets specifications and documents to define the scope of work on work orders.
Cleans grease and dirt from product. Removes rust from metal with acid, wire brush, or steel wool. Applies masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated. Fills cavities and dents with putty to attain smooth surface.
Computes mix ratios in order to mix paint materials. Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired color. Pours coating liquid into spray container and connects gun to air hose. Turns sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray.
Selects the appropriate personal protective equipment for the operation to be performed. When using a respirator ensures the respirator is working properly and is properly worn.
Applies spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish using protective or decorative material such as paint, enamel, glaze, gel-coat, or lacquer. Coats areas inaccessible to hand sprayer with brush. Heats and sprays wax onto products after they are tested. Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent.
Ensures compliance with environment regulations and maintains records in accordance with these environment regulations.
Requirements
High school diploma or G.E.D. and Two (2) or more years of experience in aircraft painting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs routine developmental learning assignments and applies standard solutions to problems or work situations of a routine or repetitive nature. May perform a variety of routine duties related to any work operation in the manufacturing or repair of company and customer products as required.
Assists in performing tasks associated with determining the method and sequences of operation to be followed in fabrication of parts using materials such as graphite, fiberglass, plastic, boron, flock, mat, epoxy resins, rubber and like materials.
Assists in planning, fabricating and building adhesive bonded assemblies of metallic and nonmetallic composite materials.
Fabricates composite and metal parts into subassemblies for the purpose of prefitting in preparation for bonding/curing in presses, ovens, and autoclaves.
Assists in lay out, prefit, and assembly and lay-up of a variety of metal to metal and composite bonded assemblies.
May lay out and mark dimensions and reference lines on material to develop and trace patterns of product or parts, or uses templates.
Performs vacuum bagging for Autoclave cures up to 100 psi.
Learns to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications sketches, job orders, planning documents and engineering drawings.
Selects tooling and materials compatible with the processing techniques identified in the work instructions.
Ancillary Functions and Responsibilities: Performs other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classifications other than the primary assignment.
Requirements
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required.
Must be able to use small hand tools and machinery.

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to support the build and integration of electrical systems for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This role focuses on wire harness fabrication, assembly, and testing, ensuring high-reliability performance in demanding aerospace environments.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in building harnesses to print while working closely with engineering and production teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Build and assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
• Perform cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and terminating of wires and connectors
• Install and route harnesses within UAV structures, ensuring proper strain relief and protection
• Interpret wiring diagrams, pinouts, and BOMs
• Conduct continuity checks, insulation resistance testing, and functional testing
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in assemblies and systems
• Support prototype builds and low-rate production (LRIP) efforts
• Maintain documentation, redlines, and as-built configurations
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and workmanship requirements (e.g., IPC/WHMA-A-620 preferred)
• Work collaboratively with engineering to improve designs for manufacturability and reliability
Requirements
Required Qualifications
• 6 months plus of experience in wire harness assembly or electronics technician role
• Experience or Certification. (Does not have to be in aircraft)
Proficiency in crimping, soldering, and cable routing techniques
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and assembly drawings
• Experience with mil/aerospace-style connectors (D38999, Micro-D, etc.) preferred
• Familiarity with test equipment (multimeter, continuity tester, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or UAV systems
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification.
• Experience with environmental considerations (vibration, thermal, EMI shielding)
• Ability to support rapid prototyping and iterative development environments
