Applies a mastery of technical skills and knowledge and a detailed knowledge of industry standards and government regulations related to applying and ensuring quality of final paint application on original equipment manufactured parts, components and complete subsystems for operational aircraft applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs assembly of original equipment manufacturing of parts, components and subsystems for aircraft applications using products and processes are varied but generally not complex in scope to apply primer, topcoat paint, and any spray-applied coatings to aircraft parts consistent with government, customer and company standards. The level of work performed requires some skill and experience. Priorities are determined by management. Reads and interprets specifications and documents to define the scope of work on work orders. Cleans grease and dirt from product. Removes rust from metal with acid, wire brush, or steel wool. Applies masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated. Fills cavities and dents with putty to attain smooth surface. Computes mix ratios in order to mix paint materials. Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired color. Pours coating liquid into spray container and connects gun to air hose. Turns sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray. Selects the appropriate personal protective equipment for the operation to be performed. When using a respirator ensures the respirator is working properly and is properly worn. Applies spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish using protective or decorative material such as paint, enamel, glaze, gel-coat, or lacquer. Coats areas inaccessible to hand sprayer with brush. Heats and sprays wax onto products after they are tested. Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent. Ensures compliance with environment regulations and maintains records in accordance with these environment regulations.

7-10 Years (Aircraft Painting Experience) Will take a mixture of Aircraft experience and Auto Experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Fabricate, install and refurbish aircraft interior equipment and furnishings per work order or customer request Perform and document all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hanger positions) Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures Participate in 5-S activities Assist with additional work on drop-ins and planned maintenance within the facility during slow periods of unplanned work as needed Clean aircraft as required Travel on international assignments if required Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed

Requirements

You typically have 4-6 years of Interiors Remove & Install experience on corporate aircraft You demonstrate the ability to break down cabinets remove hardware, inlay etc. You demonstrate ability to strip finish utilizing heat and scraper You have experience with sanding and prepping raw veneer and hardwood for finish, including touching up defects in veneer You can mix match and apply stains and paints on new veneers You have knowledge on spraying polyester base coats and urethane top coats You have experience with Aircraft touch up You demonstrate the ability to mask and unmask components for finish process You demonstrate mechanical aptitude You demonstrate the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings You demonstrate the ability to communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status You have Basic PC skills

Will be authorized to approve work performed for the return to service. Perform task as assigned relating to the privileges granted under 14 CFR Part 65. ? Requirements

High School Diploma/GED. Must be able to read, write and speak English. • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license, required. • 1-2 Years aviation experience required; 1+ years QC experience preferred. • Associate of Arts (AA) degree or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school, preferred. • Have been exercising their airmen privileges and actively engaged, for the last 2 years.
