Capable of performing structural repairs on floor beams, fuselage skin repairs, to include stringers, doublers, and triplers. Capable of performing floor beam, and frame installations / repairs. Drills holes of varying sizes in detail parts and subassemblies according to work instructions. Installs blind rivets, Jo-Bolts, hilocks, huck bolts, solid rivets and bolts, drives and bucks rivets to attach and assemble detail parts to structural parts and complete subassemblies to written and verbal work instructions. Inspects completed assemblies for conformance to specifications. Completes and maintains necessary paperwork for documenting processes performed.

Make repairs per Discrepant Material Tags (DMT), Material Review Request (MRR), Production Change Orders (PCO), performs necessary rework to ensure installations meet conformity. . Maintain a neat and orderly work area, supports the company 5S & Lean Initiative Program and complies with all safety regulations. Work with little or no supervision. May assist/instruct other team members. Support Lean Activities.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required. 3 years related structural assembly experience. Experience working with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.. Q-stamp preferred. Basic computer skills. Must be able to read a scale and perform basic shop math. Read and comprehend basic documents and instructions. Must have essential personal skills, which include an aptitude for hands-on craftswork, a professional attitude, attention to detail, ability to work with people and to meet demanding schedules. Language (read, write, speak, and understand English). Subject to noise more than 85 dbs. May be exposed to hazardous chemicals and requires the use of all safety equipment. Must be able to breathe through a full-face respirator. Employees with facial hair will be required to purchase a hood to meet respirator requirements. Job requires participation in the DOT random drug and alcohol testing program. Normal or corrected hearing.
