Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities: Performs bonding of metallic and nonmetallic materials to fabricate parts, components and assemblies for aircraft applications using products and processes that are varied and moderately complex to complex in scope. The level of work requires experience and sound judgment. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications sketches, job orders, planning documents and engineering drawings. Determine equipment requirements and the method and sequences of operation to be followed in fabrication of parts using materials such as graphite, fiberglass, plastic, boron, flock, mat, epoxy resins, rubber and like materials. Plans, lays out, fabricates and builds adhesive bonded assemblies of metallic and nonmetallic composite materials. Fabricate composite and metal parts into subassemblies for the purpose of prefitting in preparation for bonding/curing in presses, ovens, and autoclaves. Lays out, prefits, assembles and performs lay-up on a variety of metal to metal and composite bonded assemblies. Fits core in panels where close tolerances are required for installation of details for completion of assembly. Performs vacuum bagging for Autoclave cures up to 100 psi. Lays out and marks dimensions and reference lines on material to develop and trace patterns of product or parts, or uses templates. Selects tooling and materials compatible with the processing techniques identified in the work instructions. Performs rework or repair on any metallic or nonmetallic part presented for rework or repair.

Requirements

4 years experience in Aircraft Repair Bonding in an aerospace environment Special Skills, Licenses or Job Requirements: Demonstrate competency in applying the following in performing normal job duties. • Reading and interpreting work instructions, properly documenting work performed on such documents as process planning, adhesive log sheets, Material Review Board documents, Engineering Work Orders, Change Notices, Engineering Process Specifications, technical manuals and like documentation. • Use close tolerance measuring tools i.e. scales, micrometers, calipers, depth gages and like tools. Special Training and Behavioral Competencies: • Safety training as required by OSHA. • Intermediate blueprint reading.

This client is specifically looking for strong troubleshooters—not just installers. Candidates should have solid avionics diagnostic experience, modification experience, and the ability to work independently on complex aircraft systems. Experience with inspections, certifications, and advanced avionics systems is highly valued. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform inspections, testing, troubleshooting, repair, removal, and replacement of aircraft avionics and instrument systems in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications Diagnose and correct avionics discrepancies involving electrical systems, wiring, navigation systems, communication systems, and cockpit instrumentation Complete avionics modifications, upgrades, and installations while ensuring proper system functionality and compliance Perform 91.411 and 91.413 inspections and certifications as applicable Troubleshoot and support SATCOM systems and related communication equipment Work with avionics systems including Honeywell, Rockwell Collins, and Gogo platforms Read and interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation Complete accurate work orders, maintenance records, and removal/installation documentation in compliance with FAR Part 43 requirements Support preflight evaluations and occasional in-flight troubleshooting with flight crews as needed Maintain avionics test equipment, tools, and work areas to company standards Assist with training junior technicians and support overall team maintenance operations

Requirements

7+ years of avionics experience in a Part 145 environment required Part 135 experience preferred Strong troubleshooting experience required — install-only backgrounds will not be considered Modification experience strongly preferred Experience performing 91.411 and 91.413 inspections preferred SATCOM troubleshooting and support experience preferred Experience working with Honeywell, Rockwell Collins, and Gogo avionics systems preferred Experience on business jets required Preferred Aircraft Experience: Challenger 300, Global Express, Gulfstream GIV, Gulfstream G450, Cessna Citation X, Cessna Citation 560XL FCC License preferred but not required Ability to obtain FAA Repairman Certificate required A&P License is a plus Must have own tools necessary for the job Strong knowledge of maintenance reference materials, wiring schematics, and technical manuals required Experience using CMP and CAMP maintenance tracking systems preferred Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills required Valid driver’s license with no major infractions required Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings and comply with airport/security requirements
