At least 4 years of experience in avionics Performs wire by wire, power, functional and operational check-outs of electrical and avionics systems prior to aircraft flight. At least 1 year of experience using computer systems and aircraft diagnostic software. Required to set-up all required electrical and electronic test equipment in compliance with technical data, and then complete the appropriate functional tests that are required for each system Required to troubleshoot problem systems and take the appropriate actions to correct discrepancies Able to work on maintenance stands, extending to 25 feet with or without reasonable accommodation Able to work in confined spaces and in unusual positions. Performs hand and spray application of primer and topcoat to aircraft parts. Completes and maintains necessary paperwork for documenting processes performed.
