Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Tracks tooling on inventory management and ERP systems. Tracks tools as they come out of use then determines if they need to be routed to another area for scheduled usage or put into storage. Receives, stores and issues tools, machine tool fixtures, dies, measuring devices and other like items used in the production process. Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment. Assists leads with special projects or requests and serves as back up in their absence. Requires work on the inventory management and ERP systems. Takes periodic inventory and requisitions stock. Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment. Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear and reports damage or wear to supervisors. Cleans, oils, and performs minor repairs on tools, sharpens drill bits and other cutting tools as required. Ensures that all items requiring calibration are checked and calibrated per schedule or otherwise as required. Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory. Delivers tools or equipment to workers. Marks and identifies tools and equipment. Disposes of obsolete or surplus tools and equipment in accordance with established procedure. Operates forklifts, trucks, pallet jacks and other such devices in a safe manner. Keeps work areas clean and ensures the timely processing of paperwork and material.

4 years experience in Aircraft Repair Bonding in an aerospace environment Special Skills, Licenses or Job Requirements: Demonstrate competency in applying the following in performing normal job duties. • Reading and interpreting work instructions, properly documenting work performed on such documents as process planning, adhesive log sheets, Material Review Board documents, Engineering Work Orders, Change Notices, Engineering Process Specifications, technical manuals and like documentation. • Use close tolerance measuring tools i.e. scales, micrometers, calipers, depth gages and like tools.
